These terms apply when you add the cequal bot to a Discord server, use it in a server, use cequal.xyz, or buy Premium. By doing any of those you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do.
1. Who we are
cequal is a Discord bot and website (cequal.xyz) operated by cequal, based in France. Contact: support@cequal.xyz.
2. Using cequal
- You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and be old enough to use Discord where you live.
- Server owners and staff who add cequal decide how it is set up in their server (moderation ranks, AutoMod, honeypots, economy and so on) and are responsible for how they use it.
- The core bot is free. Premium only raises some limits for one server; it does not unlock anything a free server needs to work.
3. What you must not do
- Use cequal to harass people, spam, or break Discord's rules or the law.
- Attack, overload or probe the bot, the website or the dashboard, or try to get around limits or access you were not given.
- Sell or trade coins, items or other in-bot rewards for real money, or run real-money gambling with them.
We may block a user or a server from cequal if these rules are broken.
4. Coins, items and levels
Economy coins, items, XP and levels are for fun inside Discord. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be rebalanced or reset if needed to keep the game fair.
5. Premium subscriptions
- Premium is bought for one Discord server at a time, monthly or yearly, and paid in advance through Stripe, our payment provider.
- Prices are shown on the Premium page and include VAT where it applies.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from Dashboard → your server → Premium → Manage subscription. The server keeps Premium until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Switching between Premium and Enterprise, or between monthly and yearly, is prorated automatically.
- If a payment fails, the server keeps Premium for a 3-day grace period, then returns to Free. Anything above the Free limits (for example extra custom commands) is disabled, not deleted, and comes back if you subscribe again.
- If we change a price, we tell subscribers at least 30 days before it applies, and the new price only applies from the next renewal.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a server. Details are in the Refund policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep cequal online around the clock, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted (for example during updates or outages at Discord or our hosting providers). Features may change or be improved over time.
8. Liability
cequal is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for actions taken in a server by its staff or by automations they configured. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
9. Ending
You can stop using cequal at any time by removing it from your server and cancelling any subscription. What happens to your data is explained in the Privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes affecting paying subscribers we will give notice before they apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protections of the law where you live. If something goes wrong, please contact us first; we will try to sort it out quickly.
